East Bank Demerara : Human Services Minister Priya Manickchand said, Feminition the first women expo that concluded yesterday, provided women from across the country the opportunity to further promote their talents and creativity while tapping into economic gains.
“We have come over the last three days and we have seen booths with exhibits form women from all over Guyana showcasing what they are worth doing,” Minister Manickchand said.
She also noted that Ministry of Human Services continues to work quietly everyday in ensuring that the lives of vulnerable groups, including children, the disabled and underprivileged, are significantly enhanced.
The expo also provided the opportunity for hundreds of women to improve their financial status and to make significant contributions to economic development by being able to secure markets for products.
