East Coast Demerara : Lovina Williams, 37 years, of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, was walking along the Liliendaal Public Road last night when she was struck down by a motor vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The driver of the motor vehicle was tested and found to be over the legal limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol. He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
