Drop in gasoline and diesel prices

Barbadians are paying slightly less for gasoline, diesel and kerosene. The price of gasoline has decreased from $3.24  per litre to $3.11, a savings of 13 cents. The prices of diesel and kerosene both decreased by six cents.

Diesel moved from $2.85 per litre to $2.79 per litre, while kerosene dropped from $1.88 per litre to $1.82 per litre.

 While there has been a decrease in the prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene there has been an increase in the retail price of liquefied petroleum gas.

A 100 pound cylinder which retailed at $184. 87 cents now cost $192. 40 an increase of $7.53.

The 25 pound cylinder now cost $53.20 up from $51.32 cents, the 22 pound cylinder now cost $46.98 and the 20 pound cylinder is now being sold at $42.71.
