Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts resigns

Bassettere, St Kitts.

Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Sam Condor today announced his resigination from the Cabinet with immediate effect, citing recent developments as the reasons for stepping down.

"The recent developments pertaining to issues of Good Governance and Consititutional Integrity have brought me to the point where I feel constrained to tender my resignation as a member of Cabinet, with immediate effect", Condor said.

"I remain committed to serve and to do the best that I can do for the people of St Kitts and for the nation in general, by the grace of God and the will of the people", he added.

Condor has served as a parliamentarian for over 20 years and as a government minister for 18 years.
