Linden : Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred yesterday afternoon on Silver Hill Public Road, Linden Highway that resulted in the death of pedal cyclist Raymond Isaac, 21, self employed of Silver Hill, Linden.
Enquiries disclosed that motor car HC 7383 with passengers, was proceeding north along the western carriageway allegedly at a fast rate, when it collided with the cyclist who was flung onto the front windscreen then the road way. He was picked up in an unconscious state and rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body is presently at the Hospital’s Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
The 31 year old hire car driver of West Wootooka Hill Top, Wismar is in custody assisting with the investigation.
