Linden: Wanted man Orlando Thom and an armed associate continue to elude capture as the community of Wismar Linden is gripped in fear. The former national swimmer has turned to a life of crime and is reportedly armed with an AK47. A family is now on the run after abandoning their home in fear of the wanted man. Information is that he terrorized the family and threatened to kill them.
A wanted bulletin was recently released by the police for Thom in connection with a kidnapping. In other reports Thom made contact with a press agency and explained that he was forced into these circumstances because he spoke out against bad relatives who were involved in drugs.Now for fear of his life he needed protection and thus armed himself. Residents in the community are not buying this story and say that the wanted man is dangerous. There is a call for more police presence in the community and help in capturing Thom and his associate, since the Wismar police seem unable to do anything.
