Cocaine found in coconut milk on Guyana-registered vessel

Georgetown: Malaysia Customs authority seized about 76kg of cocaine that were packed in tins marked as processed pineapple and coconut milk in Port Klang.

Officers related that based on information received they stopped and inspected a ship on Nov 12 and found 980 cartons of the processed food. After several days of inspection, 384 tins were found to contain cocaine in liquid form. The shipment was from Guyana in route to Mozambique.
