Cabinet approves four diplomatic appointments

LuncheonGeorgetown: Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon at his post-Cabinet media briefing announced Cabinet’s approval of four diplomatic appointments.

Ambassador Sule Oztunc of Turkey has been appointed the new non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Guyana. She will be resident in Venezuela.

Ambassador Giovanni Rene Castillo Polanco has been appointed the new non-resident Ambassador of Guatemala to the Republic of Guyana, and he will be resident in Trinidad and Tobago.

Approval was granted for Elnur Ikhtiyar Oglu Sultanov to be appointed non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Guyana, and will be resident in Brasilia.

Simon Tucker will be the new High Commissioner of New Zealand to the Republic of Guyana. He will be resident in Canada.
