Georgetown : Minister of State Joseph Harmon , announced the appointment of the Board of Directors for the Guyana National Newspapers Limited (GNNL).
The Board of Directors is expected to serve the agency from the period June 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018.
The New Chairperson for this board is Geeta Chandan-Edmond. Other members include Bert Wilkinson, Aaron Fraser, Karen Davis, Hakeem Khan, Ruel Johnson, Sherod Duncan, Tabitha Sarabo-Halley and Hilbert Foster.
The board will be charged with the responsibility of guiding the management of the agency on issues and policies which would position the newspaper as a national product and not one limited to government information.
