Businessman Randy Jagdeo freed of the murder charge

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAGeorgetown: Businessman Randy Jagdeo was freed of a murder charge today at the districts Magistrate Court.  He was charged with the death of his friend Biker Kirk Davis.

The Magistrate decided to set Jagdeo free after a number of the main witnesses in the case failed to show up in court to give evidence.

Reports disclosed that the Water Street businessman allegedly ventured to Davis’ house and invited him into his car then shot him 15 times about his body before he tossed him out of his vehicle. Jagdeo subsequently fled the jurisdiction then later surrendered.

Davis’ bullet-riddled body was picked up and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC)

On November 21, last year the Prosecution stated that it will be leaning on eight witnesses to establish a case of murder against businessman Randy Jagdeo.

Jagdeo, 27, of Lot 159 Third Street Alexander Village, Georgetown is said to have murdered Davis at his Eccles, East Bank Demerara residence on September 3, last year.
