Mahaica: Next month residents of Mahaica will benefit from a brand new market constructed at a cost of $82M.
The building will house 104, 8×8 stalls inclusive of 7 meat and 11 fish stalls, with the southern side of the market designated for fruits and vegetable vending.
A market committee, comprising NDC, Regional Democratic Council (RDC) and vendors’ representative is soon to be established. This committee among others will assign the stalls and decide the final arrangement of the market.
The upper northern section of the market will house the NDC Building.
