Boy mauled by dog

Zende Clake was savagely attacked by a Akita at Holder's Terrace last Thursday evening.

According to his  mother Connie Clark, her son was returing home after buying bread when the dog jumped over a fence and began to maul the boy.

"I was coming home when the dog jumped over the fence and barked at me. I did not fret or trouble the dog. I tripped while I was running and the dog grabbed my leg and started to drag me around", s=young Zende told Trakker News.

. His mother she and  her daughter, 14-year-old Ifetayo, she rushed outside and followed the screams to where 11-year-old Zende was being mauled. They tried to get the dog off Zane using a brick and a disgarded street sign.

"I finally got the dog off my son but it began to attack me so I struck it again and it when for my daughter bitting her on the back of the heel".Mrs Clarke said.

Timothy Worrell, the dog’s caretaker, told Trakker News  that his lawyer had advised him not to comment on the matter. He, nevertheless noted the dog would be put to sleep.
