Two billboards at Greens, St George, erected by the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) canadate for St George South, Dr Esther Byer-Suckoo were vandalizes over the weekend.
Byer- Suckoo told the media she received a call yesterday informing her that the billboards wfich were planted two feet into the ground were uprooted and all the posters torn off.
According to Byer-Suckoo 95 percent of her posters were had already been torn down.
"I am not bothered. I am quite bemused, my objective now is to concentrate on the elections not billboards but I just want to remind people that this is a criminal offence; sure there is political rivalry but people may not realize that they can be charge for things like this", Byer-Suckoo said.
She made it clear that she was not abttributing blame to her opponent Dwight Sutherland of the Barbados Labour Party for the act but believed it to be the act of overzealous supporters.
