Georgetown: In its quest to find Guyana's next superstar, GT&T has covered auditions in Linden, Essequibo, Berbice and now, Georgetown!
If you thought Linden was filled with surprises and wig-flying excitement, wait until you catch the brand new episode of GT&T Jingle and Song Competition, airing this Sunday on LRTV Channel 8 from 17:00hours, HJTV Channel 72 and NTN Channel 69 from 20:00hours and NCN Channel 11 from 20:30hours.
This edition will feature audition segments from both Berbice and Essequibo where the team found the auditions to be satisfying and impressive, positively packed with talent. Although many of the contestants who got passes into the next round were advised by the panel of judges that they will have to undergo intensify training to improve their talent, the performances were generally of an acceptable level.
However, Linden may be up for a challenge in this year’s competition as Berbice have almost double the numbers in qualifiers while Essequibo has seen the least amount of contestants going through to the next round of the competition. Who stays and who is sent packing? Tune in on Sunday to find out!
