Georgetown: Reports are that former Chief Execu-tive Officer (acting) and Finance Director of the Guyana Sugar Corporation, Paul Bhim, has tendered his resignation which will be confirmed by GuySuCo’s Chairman and current CEO, Rajendra Singh later this week at a planned announcement. Bhim began his career with GuySuCo in 1995. His appointment as Finance Director was at the behest of the board. The appointment of Mr. Bhim as acting Chief Executive Officer was ratified by the major stakeholders. He was to make a turnaround in the industry, which he failed to achieve.
