Mikey (Michael Mercer) is the new Road March King of Barbados he won his fourth title for 2012 with his sweet soca song "We Loose.
He is the first person to win four titles during a Crop Over season winning the the Party Monarch and Sweet Soca competitions along with People's Monarch held under the auspices of Starcom Network.
Mikey told Trakker News it was a great feeling to have done so well this season.
" I have worked very hard and its has made off, everything happened for a reason, the good and bad. God had a plan so I put Him first and place everything in his hands", Mikey said.
"Now that I have officially etched my name in history, I am going to try my best to be consistent, next year I will try to sing a social commentary", he added.
Lil Rick's hits Ah Like Muhself and Ravers tied for second place.
