Georgetown : The police this morning continue with their investigations into an armed robbery that occurred last night. According to the police, at around 9:30pm butcher Joseph Alladane, 54 years, of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, was attacked and robbed of his jewellery by three men, who were all armed with handguns, at Festival City, Georgetown.
During the attack one of the men discharged a round at the victim which grazed his chin and damaged the windscreen of his mini-bus.
