Laventille: An 11-year-old boy has been shot in Laventille.
Police reports say around 9 o'clock on Sunday evening, two armed and masked men enetered a house at Upper Mapp Lands and opened fire indiscriminately on the occupants of the house.
Twenty-two year-old Dwyane Kerwyn Morrell was shot several times and died on the scene. Eleven-year-old James Simpson was also shot in the left leg.
Simpson was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital and transfered to the Mount Hope hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
