Rasheda Akeela Agard, 19, of Goddard Road, St Stephen Hill, Black Rock, St Michael, was remanded to HMP Dodds for allegedly kicking a policeman in his testicles, when she appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister, in District A Magistrates Court yesterday.
The teenage mother pleaded not gulity in to assaulting and resisting Constable Lenroy Scott in the execution of his duties and causing a disturbance along Parris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael on Feburuary 16.
Police Prosecutor Peter Barrow did not object to bail but Bannister asked Agard to tell the court why she should not be remanded to jail.
The young mother replied she was the mother of a one year old daugher from whom she did not want to be away.
She will return to the Court next Tuesday Febuary 23.
