A woman's body was found along the banks of a canal in the vicinity of a canefield on Hartland Main Road, in Spanish Town, St Catherine this morning.The body was discovered by residents who alerted the police.
The body is described to be that of an individual in their early seventies, dark complexion, slim build and 5' tall.
It was clad in a pink striped blouse, pink floral skirt, and a pair of black slippers.
