Georgetown : Samantha Charles of 135 Canterbury Walk, Beterverwagting,East Coast Demerara(ECD) was today charged with trafficking in narcotics committed on November 05, 2012. She appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court before Magistrate Alex Moore and was placed on $400,000.00 bail. She is to return to court on December 21, 2012.
Samantha Charles on the day in question had given a bag to a man to send in on a flight to Ekereku for a relative. Ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch conducted a search of the bag at the Ogle Airport and found 460 grammes of marijuana.
