Georgetown : A 47 year-old female resident of Annandale, East Coast Demerara is in police custody following her arrest at the Bartica Stelling last evening with 2.311 kilograms of cannabis sativa.
Police ranks acting on information went to the said location, where they intercepted the woman and a search was carried out on a bag she was carrying, when the ranks discovered the illegal substance in taped parcels.
She is being processed for court.
