Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch says reports over the weekend that a woman was found dead in the road in Cottage, St George was not accurate.
Welch told Trakker News that a woman was found but she was very much alive.
"We received a report on Saturday just after 9 p.m that a woman was lying in the road. Officers found a woman lying in the road in an incoherent state. She was interviewed by officers but refused medical attention and was taken to her St James home", Welch said.
According to Welch, the state of her clothing suggested she spent some time on the ground.
