According acting general manager of the BWA Dr John Mwanza, any water outages experienced by the public would be the result of brust mains or equipment failture.

Mwanza also give an update on the West Coast Sewerage project, which he said was under review.

"We had to look at redesigning and upgrading the treament level for the West Coast so that we will be able to reuse the water coming out of the plant", Mwanza said.

"The design of the upgrades  of the treatment have just started and once they are completed in anothe year we can beging the construction of the plant", he added.
