Berbice : Richard Barrow of Smythfield, New Amsterdam, was shot and injured to his left arm by the police during efforts to arrest him.
Richard Barrow was wanted for questioning by the police in relation to a series of armed robberies and escape from lawful custody.
He is under guard at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
