Georgetown: The police Tuesday afternoon issued a wanted bulletin for Trevor Anthony Amsterdam. According to the police, Amsterdam, whose last known address was given as Bagotsville, West Bank Demerara, is wanted in relation to investigations into the murder of Jermaine Simon which occurred on November 10, 2015, at Bagotstown, EBD.
Persons with information which may lead to his arrest are asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 227-2128, 226-1389, 226-7065, 226-9941, 225-8196, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with strict confidence.
Simon of 46 Norton Street, Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara, was shot in his forehead while riding a bicycle. It is believed that as he was riding, a man rushed out of a yard and shot him.
On March 16, 2015, police had issued a wanted bulletin for Simon in connection with the murder of Providence teen, Ryan Sooklall, who was shot and killed while with friends a short distance from his home. He was killed on March 1.
