East Coast Demerara : At about 10:40pm yesterday waitress “Selena”, 46 years, was involved in an argument with a group of patrons at a Night Spot at Chateau Margot, East Coast Demerara (ECD), during which one of the men pulled out a firearm and fatally shot her to the head and escaped.
Meanwhile the police in a statement today say ranks of a police mobile patrol searched a man at Coldingen Access Road, ECD, after 10pm yesterday and found an unlicensed .32 Pistol with 12 rounds in his possession.
He has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
