Essequibo : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at 65 Km, Buck Hall Road, Essequibo, and which resulted in the death of Junior Assanah, 25 years, of Bare Root, East Coast Demerara.
Investigations have revealed that Junior Assanah was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was allegedly being driven at a fast rate. The driver lost control of the vehicle which turned turtle and resulted in injuries to the occupants.
Junior Assanah was taken to the Suddie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
