US Deputy Chief of Mission pays courtesy call on Minister Persaud

Georgetown : Newly appointed US Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Bryan D. Hunt today paid a courtesy call on Natural Resources and the Environment Minister, Robert Persaud to discuss ongoing collaboration in the Natural Resources and Environment Sectors.

Minister Persaud highlighted current cooperation programmes including support for the Low Carbon Development Strategy, climate change efforts, forest management and capacity building for the expected oil and gas sector in Guyana.
