Georgetown: The Minister of Legal Affairs and Attorney General Basil Williams recently received the US Embassy’s Economic & Commercial Officer Frisco Mc Donald and International & Law enforcement (INL) Coordinator Leon Carr at the Attorney General Chambers.
The US Embassy’s Economic & Commercial Officer Frisco Mc Donald discussed focused on legislation to support Guyana’s efforts to prepare its energy sector for oil through its Energy Governance and Capacity Initiative (EGCI) , while International & Law Enforcement (INL) Coordinator Leon Carr spoke on Cybercrime and the US department of Justice(DOJ) proffered assistance to participating countries in developing laws and procedures that will improve ability to investigate and prosecute crimes involving the use of computers and the internet.
