India take the lead at the end of the first day of the second Test

Bridgetown.

At the end of the first day of the second Test between the West Indies and  India on at Kensington Oval, the West Indies has score 30  runs for the lost of  3 wickets in reply to India's total of 201 all out.  

Darren Sammy won the toss and sent in India to bat,  they lost wickets quickly and were reduced to 44 for at lunch,VS Laxman and Suresh Raina added 117 runs for the fifth wicket, Laxman scored  85 and Raina made 53.

The wickets were shared between Ravi Rampaul  3 – 38 runs, Devendra Bishoo 3-46 and Fidel Edwards 3-56.
