Georgetown: Airstrips in Matthew’s Ridge, Imbaimadai and Kamarang will be rehabilitated, providing easier access for a number of mining companies throughout the area. This is part of the network of air and river transport systems that will be upgraded in Guyana. Airstrips in Regions one, two, seven, eight and nine have been identified for maintenance works.
