Georgetown: A fourth person has died from the tonic tainted poisoning. One child remains critical at the Georgetown Public Hospital.  The dead persons have been identified as Natasha George, Alex Baird, Simone Price and another. Alex and Simone were a couple. Investigators believe the tonic may have contained liquid cocaine. It was left with the family for a relative to take to the US. The relative left without taking the bottle of tonic and the family decided to make use of it.

According to reports, Saturday night the family received a package from a relative who wanted it to be given to be given to another family member who was heading to the United States. The package contained a large bottle of a popular brand multi vitamin tonic. The relative refused to take the bottle to the U.S and even told them that she could purchase any multi vitamin tonic in the U.S. She subsequently left Guyana on Sunday morning. Relatives at loss and bewildered as police hunt for a Campbellville man that was fingered in providing the tainted tonic.
