Berbice : The body of an unidentified man was found on the Public Road at No. 68 Village, Corentyne, at last night.
The police says the man, who had bruises about his body, is of East Indian descent, appears to be in his late 30’s, fair complexion and about 5’9” in height. He was clad in a red and white checkered shirt, a pair of blue jeans and was barefooted.
The body is at the Skeldon Hospital Mortuary.
Investigations are in progress.
