Georgetown : Last evening the police responded to a report that two men were involved in an altercation at Mc Doom, East Bank Demerara.
The men were arrested and one of them was found in possession of an unlicensed .32 Taurus revolver.
The men are in police custody.
Meanwhile at about 11:30pm yesterday ranks of a mobile police patrol conducted a search on motor car PJJ 8620 at Hogg and James Streets, Albouystown, during which an unlicensed .32 Taurus revolver with 6 matching rounds was found.
Two men and two women have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
