Georgetown : This morning the police conducted cordon and search operations in the areas of Albouystown and West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, during which eight buildings were searched.
A total of 11 men were arrested pending investigations into armed robberies and narcotics offences. Two of them have been positively identified as the perpetrators of recent armed robberies.
The men are in custody assisting with the investigations.
