Two teenagers has been charged with kidnapping a 56 year old woman and demanding $10,000 for release.
Shanice Fields,17 of Lot 2 Buttals,St George and her boyfriend Malachi Ward , 19, of Martinque Road, Government Hill, St Michael, yesterday evening appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister charged with unlawfully removing Sandra King from her home at Rock Hampton Road, Grazettes Landing Scheme, St Mchael on Saturday evening.
Fields, who the prosecutors allege were the mastermind behind the kidnapping and Ward were remanded to HMP Dodds.
Magistrate Bannister adjourned the matter until January 15, 2013.The preliminary inquiry has been set for June 17, 2013.
