West Coast Demerara : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 6:20am today on the public road at Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara (WCD) and which resulted in the death of Hasibulla, 50 years, of Meten-Meer-Zorg, and Juman Ali, 56 years, of De Willem, WCD.
The police at Region Three says Hasibulla and Juman Ali were on the roadway in conversation with one Latchman Chand when the driver of a motor vehicle lost control of the vehicle and collided with them.They were taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital where Hasibulla and Juman Ali were pronounced dead, while Latchman Chand has been admitted for medical treatment.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
