Georgetown : Chinese nationals Shai Zing, 44 years, and Lin Tang, 29 years, both of Robb Street, Georgetown, were among a group of other Chinese outside of the Zhang Xing business place at Robb Street when two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, approached in a suspected robbery attempt.
During the incident the armed man discharged the firearm hitting Shai Zing to his buttocks and Lin Tang to his right foot. The perpetrators escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.
Both Chinese were treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
