Georgetown : Three more men were charged today following investigations into looting that took place in ‘C’ Field, Sophia, during protests on Monday May 11, 2015.
Clive Baird, 27 years, of ‘C’ Field, Sophia, has been charged with two counts of Simple Larceny. He appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court and was remanded to prison until June 05, 2015.
Lawrence Harris, 16 years, of ‘C’ Field, Sophia; and Melroy Weekes, 19 years, of ‘D’ Field, Sophia, were jointly charged with Simple Larceny. They also appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court today and were placed on $30,000.00 bail, each, for court on June 08, 2015.
