Kitty Georgetown – Canu officers swoop down on a home in William Street Kiity Friday last arresting a US deportee and his girlfiend. Reports are that Canu was alerted after strange vehicles and known faces suspected in drug runnings were seen at the home of the deportee.
The officers found 6 kilos of marijuana and 60 grams of cocaine in the house. Officers reportedly stormed the house unexpectedly breaking down the door when they caught the suspect trying to flush down the substance. He is expected to be charged tomorrow at the Georgetown Magistrate's court.
