Twenty two people injured in collision

Bridgetown.

Rodney Weekes, of Marley Vale, St Philip died, this morning after the car he was driving was involved in an collision  with a Transport Board bus at Ashbury, St John.

Weekes  suffered from multiple head injuries and was taken by ambulance  to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH)  were he later died.  His passenger Michael Blackett complained of  pains about the body. He, too, was taken to the QEH.

  Twenty two people, including18 school children were injured ,most of them were treated at the scence by four medical doctors.

Weekes death was Barbados' 24th road fatality for the year.
