Three-year-old boy buggered at pre-school

St Clair: St Clair police are at this time awaiting instructions regarding an alleged sexual assault against  a three year old boy.

The alleged assault took place at a Maraval pre-school. The child's father, who is a British national working in the country took the child for a medical examination after noticing that the child was found bleeding.

The child and his parents have since left for England where further medical examinations will be done.

Director of Public Affairs for the Police Service Sharon Lee Assang confirmed that  a 30-year-old male suspect has been questioned in connection with the case.

She says officers are recieving advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
