Berbice. Three men have been arrested following the interception of 937 grams of ganja in a car on West Coast Berbice (WCB) yesterday morning.
In a release, police said that about 07:00h, ranks at a road block along the Fort Wellington Public Road, WCB, stopped and searched a motor car in which 937 grams of marijuana were found.
Three men have been arrested and a further 11 grams of marijuana was found on one of them. They are in police custody and charges will be made shortly.
This is the second time in less than a month,that police have been able to intercept persons attempting to traffick drugs in the Fort Wellington area.
