Georgetown : Police today instituted a joint charge against three men accused of lobbing a grenade outside of the Kaieteur News Office at 24 Saffon Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, on Saturday June 04, 2016. They were charged with ‘attempting to cause explosion’ and remanded until July 07, 2016, by Chief Magistrate Ann Mc Lennon in Court one. The accused are Leroy Williams called ‘Buxton’, 25 years, of Durban Backlands; Alfie Garraway, 36 years, of 71 Norton Street, Lodge and Janiel Howard, 20 years, of 22 Section ‘C’, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown.
