Georgetown : Swift action by ranks of the Guyana Police Force resulted in the apprehension of three males in a house at John Street ,Campbellville, where the lawmen found two illegal firearms and eighty rounds of ammunition. ,
Acting on information received ,about 6pm yesterday, the ranks swooped down on the two storey structure , carried out a search and found an AK47 Rifle, a 9MM Pistol ,three magazines and eighty live rounds and several cellular phones.
The suspects aged 29,30 and 35 years hail from Campbellville, Charlestown and Linden respectively.
