Three arrested for possession of illegal gun used in recent robbery

Georgetown : At about 12:05pm today Police ranks stopped and searched a motor vehicle at Le Ressouvenir, East Coast Demerara, found a .32 Taurus pistol with 10 matching rounds.
Three men, all of whom were previously charged for robbery under arms and who were in the vehicle, have been arrested.
Further investigations have revealed that the firearm was stolen during a recent robbery on August 18, 2013.
