Georgetown : The Pediatric Ward of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) received a donation of very useful items worth over G$1.1 mil courtesy of Grant-a-Dream, a non-for-profit organization which has been working with the hospital for over a year.
Grant-a-Dream donated items ranging from Pulse Oximeters, Thermometers, Blood Pressure units, all of which are especially designed for children. In addition, the ward received scrubs for nurses, mattress covers, bed sheets and educational materials for the children.
Mr. Carl Shivraj, Director/Treasurer of the group, supported by four other group members made this presentation which was received by the Ward’s Manager and the Chief Executive Officer, GPHC expressed sincerest gratitude for the group’s donation and continued support.
