Georgetown: The body of a taxi driver, Roopchand Darshan, 24, called ‘Dave’, or ‘Papi’ was discovered today with what appeared to be a bullet wound to the head. The body was found at Strathspey, East Coast Demerara.
He was found slumped in his Spacio PRR 4834, which drove into a trench.
Caribbean Trakker understands that close relatives last saw him alive at around 23.00 hrs on Friday, when he left his Enmore home, to ply his trade. The victim would normally solicit passengers in the vicinity of the Enmore Public road.
