Georgetown : Today at around 2:00am, taxi-driver Edward Freeman, 24 years, had just arrived in his motor vehicle at his home at Sideline Dam, East La Penitence, Georgetown, when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
The armed man discharged a round which shattered the right side door glass and hit Edward Freeman to his right shoulder. The perpetrators then took away an undisclosed of cash from their victim and escaped.
Edward Freeman has been admitted to hospital. Investigations are in progress.
